Creating and Maintaining a shop.

1. Don't put any animated backgrounds, pictures, or any music on your shop. It will make your page/shop load longer, and some people might leave before it's finished.

2. Try not to use alot of pictures, or picture links on your shop. These also make your shop load very slowly.

3. Expand your shop as needed to be hold your items for sale.It will take alot of neopoints to get bigger. Remember the people who own the biggest shops in Neopia have been playing for YEARS.

4. Keep your galleries(the place where you put items you want to show but not sell) and shops seperate. This will make it easier to find the items for sale if they're not mixed in with a bunch of items not for sale.

5. Try buying your stuff on the main shops. If you buy from other shops and mark the prices up in your shop... make sure the shop your buying from is the cheapest so you can sell and make a small profit.

6. Try to get items from the Money Tree they are the best kind because what ever you sell the item for is 100% profit.

Running a shop

1. Advertise sales on message boards.

2. Don't advertise your shop with Neomails, most people will think your a scammer and report you.

3.Make sure your the lowest on the Shopwizard list even if you are only a few Neopoints below the other people. Do this by searching the shopwizard until you find the shopwizard list you are on. It's very easy to figure out... just search until you see a username that starts with the same letter as you. Remember that each list contains the usernames for more than one letter; for example, if your username starts with C you'll be listed with the C's, B's, and J's.
4. If you can't sell your items on your shop then try putting them on auctions or in the trading post.

5. Always make sure you make a profit NEVER sell anything for less than what you bought it for... just keep it in your safe deposit box and wait until the price goes up... it may take months.

6. Don't send thank-you messages. Some people may think they're annyoying and they moght report your shop.
